So the thing is, I generally dislike “firsts”. Uncharted waters and change ain’t my cup of tea. Maybe that’s why I’ve started (and subsequently stopped) writing in every journal or blog I’ve ever had.
This time I’d like to make it stick, so I’m trying a new approach. No presuppositions about what to write, no rules, just whatever I feel like sharing. And if you don’t want to read it, that’s fine because I’m not doing it for you anyway. I’m doing it because I’m lazy and secretly hoping this little blog will make me famous so I don’t ever have to work a “real job”. Probably not. But hey, my mom thinks it’s a good idea. So there you have it.
A little about me, since you will probably never read my “About Me” page:
I like to write and talk. A lot. I’m a huge geek (more specifically, a self-proclaimed “word nerd”) but I like to be extremely social (i.e., “I like to drink alcohol”) as well. I generally have an abundance of sarcastic comments/random thoughts/song lyrics floating around in my head, so I thought — “A blog? Sure, why not?” Maybe it will stop the voices in my head. Just kidding. (But not really.)
